Contest Alert || Wars And Human Lives

Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest organize by @abdullahw2 which is titled "Wars And Human Lives"

War as we all know is a deadly event that takes place amongst nations and sometimes as a result of political or inter socioeconomical vices, war since it involves the destruction of lives and properties has a huge effect on the lives of an ordinary people not to mention the lives of children.

• War affects the lives of an ordinary person in a sense that their homes will be taking away from them, as a result of destruction and some of them will be forced into refugees,

• It also leads to loss of jobs

• And above all it also leads to loss of lives which may be a person's love one of relatives

War on the other hand can affect the children in the following ways;

• It can affect them psychologically causing depression and anxiety
• It can cause physical harm which may lead to loss of life
• It can result to long term consequences like if they lose a person close to them as a result of the war consequences

The first world war that started in the 1914 after the assassination of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 28 June 1914, the war led to a significant suffering of both the soldiers and the civilians costing a approximately 10 million lives.

Though the war also had it's merit because it led to the political restructuring abolishing some I'll fated political policies and giving rise to some new ideologies amongst the people and even went ahead to setting up new social values.

In case of an out break of war keeping both ourselves and that of our families save should be our biggest priority, and here I will share the basic trick that was put into practice by my grandfather during the Nigerian civil war.

According to my grandfather the best ways of surviving a way is not to stay in your house they soldiers might storm the place and attack you, and don't run around you might catch a stray bullet, rather you can dig the ground and go inside with your family and if you want to check if the war is over cover your head with a metal helmet 🪖 or our traditional mutar Incase of a stray bullet.

The best possible ways of putting a stop to war and promoting peace amongst the nation is by stopping hate speech, yes hate speech even amongst individuals is one of the only things that causes conflict talkless of nations.

So it would be wise to first of all stop hate speech and the use of foul language when communicating with another person to avoid starting up something that might at the end leads to the destruction of life's and properties.
