Shakarparian Park – A Breath of Fresh Air:
My first stop was Shakarparian Park, a peaceful hilltop garden offering panoramic views of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The lush greenery, walking trails, and fresh breeze made it a perfect place to start the day. I even spotted the famous Pakistan Monument nearby, standing tall as a symbol of national unity.
Pakistan Museum of History – A Walk Through Time:
Next, I headed to the Pakistan Museum of History, where I explored fascinating exhibits showcasing the country’s journey from ancient civilizations to modern times. From Gandhara artifacts to independence memorabilia, every corner told a story that deepened my appreciation for Pakistan’s rich heritage.
Parliament House – The Power Center:
I also passed by the Parliament House, the seat of Pakistan’s government. Though visitors aren’t allowed inside without special permission, We are a college students therefore they give us permission to enter. It stands as a symbol of democracy and governance in the country. They are not allowed for individual picture, we maked a picture collectively.
Foodie’s Delight – A Taste of Islamabad:
After all the sightseeing, it was time to treat my taste buds! I indulged in some mouthwatering chicken karahi, seekh kebabs, and naan at a local restaurant. The flavors were rich, spicy, and absolutely satisfying. Islamabad’s food scene is a delightful mix of traditional and modern, and I couldn’t get enough.
