Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game: Amsterdam canals

Hello my dear Steemians,

 

If you are following my trip to Amsterdam then the last thing I mention it was hotel, after we arrive to hotel and had refreshment drinks we then decided to use a moment and to see Amsterdam canals, there are few in centre of city and they run paralel to each other, hte streets are very narrow and of course majority of traffic is public, local and tourists passing by, hurrying up on the way from work, study to their home. Also there are many tourists from all over the world, we could hear many different languages.

 

 

When you are at the canal you can see how old hte bridges and hte buildings are, despite of that it seems hte people who live in Amsterdam and also the city council pay attention to the whole appearance of city. For example all windows up to the highest in the buildings or smallest ones were in perfect clean condition. There were so much colours and also the front of houses all have the plants, now in summer it looks beautiful.

 

 

 

 

Here we have seen bigger boats and also closer to bridge so that we could see them better.
 

 

For tourists you there was a possibility to have a trip along canals, there were few companies offering that, the boats were open but also closed ones I think those ones are better for rainy days. The ride was one hours and prices about 15 Euro to start and up to 60 Euro more comfortable with drinks and some snacks.

 

 
 

 
 

 

Here is hte view from other side and it is more water, sea side, there are many bigger boats, some ship and evven sailing ships too, but you also can see modern building on other side.
 

 
 

 

Here was a shopping centre, we just had a short stop to check what it is there but left after being there for few minutes.

 

 

This is how hte window of one of the shop is looking like, nice vintage decorated window, that I decided to capture. I will continue in next post about our trip.
