Before participating in this competition, I want to tell you that I am not opposing any country or its politician in this article, but one of my friends has shown the bitterness hidden in his mind by writing the names of some countries in his article in this competition. We citizens are unable to understand the situations between countries. No citizen, no matter which country he belongs to, wants war. This brings bitterness and acrimony in our relations. All of us, the citizens of the world, want to live in peace.

How do wars affect the lives of common people including children?

Any war, whether fought by any country against another country, always affects the lives of common people of both countries greatly. The weapons used in these wars cause loss of life and property of common citizens, children, old people, patients and resources there. The economic condition and mental state of the citizens of both the countries are adversely affected. Common citizens are forced to live in a scared and suffering state. Due to war, very valuable buildings, bridges, national highways, hospitals, farms, barns, natural resources of the country are destroyed. It also affects the common people there.

Tell us about any historical war that has had a huge impact on the world?

Any war which has far reaching consequences is always recorded in the black pages of history. Some heads of state of the world die in such wars due to their passion, pride and sense of revenge. One of the deadliest wars in human history, the Second World War which lasted from 1939 to 1945, led to the rise of fascism and totalitarian rule. Many global superpowers including the US, Russia, Britain and Germany and Japan were involved in this war. The war led to the Holocaust, the atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the horrors of which are still being faced by the citizens there, and the division of Germany due to this war. After this war, the social condition of many countries remained adversely affected for many decades.

How can we keep ourselves safe during war?

In any such war, there are chances of loss of life of common people of that country. To avoid this, we should only follow the orders issued by the governments of our country and should fully understand the advisories issued by them for the general public. During the war, if not very necessary, one should avoid travelling and stay in the safe environment of their homes and in safe rooms. One should not pay attention to baseless rumours.

How can we stop wars and promote peace among nations?
The general public can take only one measure to stop war, that is, they should elect such a government in their country whose head is not arrogant, stupid, foolish and completely dependent on the advice of others. We need an elected democratic government in our country. We should register our strong protest against such wars through our social media and raise our voice through any means to oppose the wrong wars waged by our country. Peace will be established in the world and in our country only then the citizens there will be able to live a life of peace and prosperity. Nowadays in many countries, there are heads of states full of stupid, arrogant, crazy, vengeful people and many countries are fighting among themselves, this is the call of the 3rd World War. If we do not take care even now, then the dark clouds of great destruction are hovering over the whole world.

A few days ago my friend @mehwish-almas had asked me and @aminasafdar for comments on an article related to war. Unfortunately for me, I was very ill at that time and was admitted in a hospital, so I could not comment on it. Today, through this article, I apologize to her and invite her and request her to consider this as my answer. I also wants to invite here my learned friend @tammanna .
