Hayfever

Since I was a child I noticed runny nose and hundreds of time sneezing. Initially I liked to sneeze because it was a feeling of tickly nose and I wanted to beat the record and sneeze at once maybe 20+ times. I remember my grandmother was concerned that every time she was telling my “Bless you”, at the end after 10th time she was annoyed and started to tell me off to stop it, but I just was not able to. I remember that after sneezing my nose was blocked and I was not able to breath through my nose. During the day it was okay because I knew that the more I move then my nose clears up, but when I was in bed then my nose was immediately blocked and it was horrible feeling because I was not able to get air through nose, at that moment I had to breath through mouth and at that stage it was enough to have some relief.

Actually I noticed that in autumn all those sneezing and blocked nose feeling was gone completely and I forgot about that.

When such episodes repeated next spring then I told my mother and she then had a suspicion about health issue. We then saw a doctor after telling about sneezing and blocked nose, the doctor immediately guessed, he explained that this is an allergy to some pollution usually from grasses and sometimes trees, like birch. I received tablets and actually I was so surprised that few hours later I was able to breath freely through nose and everything was fine. Like every child next day I first forgot about my anti-histamine tablets and I immediately started to sneeze and that was a signal to take my table.

The reason why I am telling, it is time for my hayfever now and every time I take my table I think how good that there is such treatment to have symptoms under control.
