Demons and Water =/= Wasser und Dämonen 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Many places have their own spirits, gods and demons. Sometimes visible and sometimes hidden, they watch over everything and everyone and try to avert harm and disaster. You can argue about whether they always succeed, and everyone is allowed to have his own subjective opinion about it. Especially in the East of Asia, these patron saints can be found in the most diverse forms and types, so that one could probably fill books about them. Especially in the form of statues, they have simply made it everywhere and if you look closely, you just can not miss them.

They seem to be most comfortable in front of temples or shrines, where they are frequently spotted. But often they also decorate fountains or other gargoyles, and let us know impressively to whom we owe the delicious and refreshing water.

This dragon therefore shows itself from a rather imposing side, while it continuously supplies us with water. After paying my respect, he had fortunately nothing against the fact that I have taken a photo of him which I do not want to withhold from you at all.

In addition, there is another picture of another park inhabitant, which I then left rather undisturbed. We better do not strain our luck too much, and so I walked away quietly further my round and enjoyed that I had the chance to come by here today.

Hopefully, in the future too, someone will watch over our well-being. Sometimes we all need a little support...

Viele Orte haben ihre eigenen Geister, Götter und Dämonen. Man sichtbar und mal auch versteckt wachen sie über alles und jenen und versuchen, Schaden und Unheil abzuwenden. Ob es immer gelingt, darüber mag man streiten, und jeder darf dazu seine subjektive Meinung vertreten. Besonders im Osten Asiens kann man diese Schutzpatrone in den verschiedensten Formen und Varianten finden, so dass man damit wahrscheinlich Bücher füllen könnte. Vor allem in Form von Statuen haben sie es einfach überall hin geschafft und wer genau hinsieht, kann sie einfach nicht übersehen.

Insbesondere scheinen sie es vor Tempeln oder Schreinen am gemütlichsten zu finden, denn dort entdeckt man sie am häufigsten. Aber oft zieren sie auch Brunnen oder andere Wasserspeier, und lassen uns eindrucksvoll wissen, wem wir das köstliche und erfrischende Nass zu verdanken haben.

An daher zeigt sich auch dieser Drache von einer eher respekteinflößenden Seite, während er uns ununterbrochen mit Wasser versorgt. Er hatte aber zum Glück nichts dagegen, dass ich von ihm dann ein Foto gemacht habe, welches ich euch auch gar nicht vorenthalten möchte.

Zusätzlich gibt es noch ein weiteres Bild von einem anderen Parkbewohner, den ich dann doch lieber ungestört gelassen habe. Man muss ja sein Glück nicht noch extra strapazieren, und so bin ich lieber ganz ruhig weiter meine Runde gelaufen und habe mich daran erfreut, heute hier vorbeigekommen zu sein.

Und hoffentlich wird auch in Zukunft über unser aller Wohl gewacht werden. Manchmal haben wir doch alle ein wenig Unterstützung nötig...
