My Story Today: Witnessing Various Indonesian Independence Day Celebrations
Hi everyone.
Today I'm going to share some photos I took while celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day.
Indonesia's Independence Day is always enlivened by various exciting traditional competitions. Some examples of competitions typically held include tug-of-war.
A competition of strength between two teams pulling the rope as hard as possible.
--
Sack race. This is a running competition with sacks on their feet.
--
Cracker eating competition. This is a competition to eat crackers as quickly as possible.
Joget santai. This is a relaxed dance competition to the beat of music.
--
All of these competitions aim to enliven Independence Day and foster a spirit of nationalism among the community. The theme of this year's Republic of Indonesia Independence Day celebration is "United Sovereignty, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia."
The spirit of independence can be felt by everyone, from children to mothers.
Competitions like these can be a fun way to strengthen relationships between residents and foster a sense of togetherness. Children can learn about the values of independence and the spirit of competition, while mothers can showcase their talents and abilities in various fields.

With participation from all groups, the Independence Day celebrations become more lively and colorful. All participants are sure to be eager to compete for the prizes prepared by the committee.
Prizes can be an added motivation to compete better and show their best abilities.
