The Diary Game Went to the Dahi handi celebration (Playful leela of lord Krishna)

Hii to all my steemit friends, I am Aditya kumar Singh and I belong to Jamshedpur. How are you friends! I am very excited to share my first dahi handi experience with you people.

Seven days after Janamashtami a place called Samudaivikas in Chotta Govindpur every there is a matki fod contest is held. Matki fod contest means An earthen pot which is very big in size is filled with Curd and is hanged on the top at 12-13 feet's distance.

The youngs boys generally break the handi after reaching there but now the question arises how do they reach there? With the help of the other boys one upon one on shoulder and finally one of the boy will reach on top and will finally break the pot or matki.

There are two teams team one and team two the one who breaks the handi in lesser time gets gifts and each and every member distributes the gifts specially they get cash gifts so they can divide among themselves.

This year I also visited there with my friends because we get to see the mela and we get rides, swings different varieties of food like candies, pastries, rolls and dosas. My favourite is roll so I and my friends decided to have cheese roll along with chowmin.

The was a lot of crowd of the people and children and ladies from far away came to watch the matki fod contest . This year on the dahi handi day it was raining a lot but still everyone was carrying umbrella and was watching it.

Adyant also wanted to come with me but due to heavy rain papa warned him not to go or he will get wet as he is already having fever. And mumma granted me permission to go. We went inside the rides of Tora Tora and Electrical swing.

The decoration of the dahi handi was very lovely with garlands of marigold and colourful lights and balloons which is Aadyant's favourite. The Pandal was also made and decorated very beautifully.
