Explanation

---

✏️ After choosing the character or caricature you want to create, create a sketch to support your work and achieve a structure that will allow you to achieve the correct proportions and harmonious facial expressions. Explain and show the steps.

^{We all more or less love cartoons since our childhood. I am no exception. Not only did I watch cartoons as a child, but I also continue to enjoy them even as an adult. Among many of my favorite cartoons, one of the characters I like is Mr. Bean. His funny facial expressions and body movements are something I really enjoy. So today, I am going to share a caricature drawing of Mr. Bean with you all. Without further delay, let’s begin.}

▪️Step I

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then, using a 2B pencil, I drew an oval shape on a white paper. After that, I used a ruler to draw some guiding lines according to my need. I will draw the facial features within these lines.

▪️Step II

Drawing of Hair,eyebrows & nose

Here, I first drew the outline of his hair. Then I drew the shape of his eyebrows. Next, I moved down to draw the outline of the nose.

▪️Step III

	Drawing of eyes

Now, very carefully, I drew the outlines of both eyes just below the eyebrows. Inside the eyes, I used circles to draw the outlines of the eyeballs.

▪️Step IV

	Drawing of lips & ears

To show the skin creases on his forehead, I lightly drew a curved outline using the pencil. Then, I drew the outline of his lips. This is a caricature of Mr. Bean’s smiling face. After that, I drew two ears on either side of his head. Now, I erased the unnecessary guiding lines in the face using an eraser so that the facial features appear more clearly.

▪️Step V

Draw the body part

At this stage, I drew the body part. Here, I drew his neck and below that, the outline of his tie and suit. Then I drew both of his arms and fingers.

▪️Step VI

At the very end, I drew the outlines of both legs and also the outlines of his shoes. Now you can see, the caricature of Mr. Bean is now fully drawn.

▪️Step VII

	More clarity

Now, to bring more clarity and emphasis to my drawing, I used a pencil in the outline.

✏️ Once you have this base, begin gradually adding details that give your drawing a similarity to the character you chose, visualizing their defining features and exaggerating them to create a cartoonish effect. Show and explain the steps.

▪️Step I

	Eyebrows & eye balls shade

Now I am going to add shading to the caricature to give it a more realistic vibe. First, I used pencil shading on Mr. Bean’s eyebrows. Then I shaded both of his eyeballs. While shading the eyeballs, I did it very carefully because, as you can see, I left a tiny white spot in the center of each eye to reflect the light.

Next, I began shading the hair. Gradually, I completed the shading of his hair. Then I used a pencil to shade both of his ears. I also lightly shaded his facial area using the pencil.

▪️Step III

After finishing the facial shading, I lightly added shading to his body and legs with the pencil. I also gave a light shade to the lower part of his feet. That’s it—by looking at the picture, you can surely tell that my caricature of Mr. Bean is now complete.

✏️ Show a selfie of yourself with your drawing, which must include your username and the date it was created.

Now I write the username, challenger tag, and date on a piece of paper and capture a photo along with the caricature. Finally, I take a selfie holding my caricature drawing.
