Explanation

---

Today I’m going to share a drawing of two characters from one of my favorite enemy series. This enemy is a favorite of mine as well as the kids in my family. It is the Tom and Jerry series. I believe many of you have watched this series. One interesting thing about this series is that it doesn’t contain any voice or dialogue. Everything is expressed only through sound effects and the expressions of the characters, and I find that very fascinating. I really enjoy the playful mischief between Tom and Jerry. Watching this series with my family brings us so much joy. Especially the kids in our home enjoy it a lot, because it's full of comedy. Anyway, today I’ll be sharing a cute enemy drawing of Tom and Jerry from this beloved series. Without further delay, let’s get started.

🔹Step I

	My pencils

First, I gather all the necessary materials in hand. Then, I begin drawing the outline of Tom using a pencil on a white sheet of paper. Here, Tom is seen smiling and standing slightly bent with his hands on his hips.

🔹Step II

Then I start drawing Jerry’s outline on the right side of Tom. First, I draw his feet, body, tail, and ears. After that, I draw the facial features. Jerry appears to be smiling and shaking hands with Tom in this pose.

🔹Step III

Now I begin coloring. First, I shade Tom’s head and hands using dark blue color. Then I color the body, legs, and tail.

🔹Step IV

	Ears, tongue & eye color

Next, I use orange color lightly on Tom’s ears. Then I color his tongue area with orange, and apply a brownish tone above. Now I color the eyes with yellow, green, and black for the pupil part.

🔹Step V

Coloring Right side

Now I begin coloring Jerry’s body. I use a combination of orange and yellow for the inner parts of the ears and the middle body. Then I use brown color on the legs, tail, face, and hands. I also use black for the pupils of the eyes.

🔹Step VI

Now to give my drawing a more defined and beautiful look, I go over the outlines using a gel pen. From the picture, you can surely tell how vivid and lively both characters appear.

🔹Step VII

	Selfie with my drawing

Finally, I write the necessary tags on a paper and capture a photo of the Tom and Jerry enemy drawing with those tags. Then I take a selfie with my drawing.
