😅 Steem Memory Game – My Toughest Round Yet!

Greetings,

Today I faced what I would call my worst experience so far with the Steem Memory Game.

Right at the start I could tell the difference--this round was not going to be smooth. The biggest challenge? The characters on the cards were like two close friends to the extent that it was extremely difficult to identify them within a brief period of time. I continued being misled by my own eyes and mind and the game became a perfect trial of patience.

Whenever I thought that I had figured out the position, I turned the incorrect card. The resemblances disorienting me once more and once more, and my actions simply continued to stack up.

This was annoying, yet also a lesson that this game can change into fun and not so easy, and challenging, based on the cards arrangement.

Here are my results from this challenging session:

Clearly, this wasn’t my best. The higher number of moves really dragged my score down, and the extra time added to the difficulty. Honestly, I laughed at myself when I saw the result—it wasn’t about lack of effort, it was just one of those tricky setups where memory feels helpless.

💭 My Thoughts

Although this was my most difficult round and most likely the worst one, I do not consider it as negative. Rather I think it was a lesson: the game will be unforgiving in similar characters at times, and that’s fine. Had all rounds been easy it would not have truly exercised my brain in the same way this one did.

I do believe that a minor alteration in the character design, perhaps the difference in it being more apparent, would render the game more just. However, simultaneously, the similarity issue brings memory to its capacity- and that is the actual focus of the Steem Memory Game.

At this point, I will take this result of 1194 as the road. A win is not always a day, and this is why the improved outcomes are so rewarding. I will be back tomorrow to flip smarter, concentrate harder and hopefully back to perform in a more balanced way!
