I am super excited to share my entry concerning this contest. In Nigeria, we celebrated Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary on October 1st, 2025. It was a public holiday for all Nigerians. I decided to do a design, I made a video showing how I started

Here is a simple summary of what I did
I started by opening the pixel lan app and setting up the canvas. I choose a good clean white background for a perfect look. I imported a began by opening PixelLab and setting up the canvas.

I choose a perfect white background to have a good look. I then imported a subtle textured pattern to give the design depth.
I went ahead by bringing in the main pictures , that's I imported the Nigerian Flag and positioned it in the corner. I added a the images of the political figures, I crop some parts so that they fit in with the background. I gave the number65 a bold font to truly highlight the anniversary

After that, I started by adding the text messages. I used different text layer in the app to design this wordings
"Welcome to the Month of October," "Happy 65th Anniversary," and the date.
I gave the main key of the test a national green colour to ensure that all the words were perfectly centered and aligned. I finalize everything by applying small shadows to make it look outstanding
