Inter-school Volleyball Tournament

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah hiwabarakatuh.
I would like to share a little story about the inter-school volleyball competition between male and female students. The male and female students from my school, SMA 1 Banda Baro, will be competing against the male and female students from MAS Nisam. The match will take place at the MAS Nisam volleyball court. The reason for holding the match there is because the court there is in better condition and fully equipped with various amenities such as nets, boundary lines, and an intact floor. The match was held as part of the celebrations for Independence Day, which falls on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Warm-up

The players from each school are warming up. Both schools are fielding their best players. My school is on the left side of the field and MAS school is on the right side of the field.

Briefing from the Principal

Before the match began, the principal gave instructions to both schools. The purpose of this match was not only to determine who was the best, but also to foster friendship and communication between the two schools. The match was merely entertainment so that the students would also enjoy the event.

The Match Begins

The match between the two schools began with the female students competing. The match was fierce, with both teams scoring points. However, it was clear on the field that the MAS team was more cohesive and better trained than my school.

Final Match

After three sets, the match finally reached the final round with the MAS team leading in points. There were several powerful shots against the SMA team's defense, resulting in victory for the MAS team. It was an excellent and sportsmanlike match.

School Supporters

The supporters were just as enthusiastic as the players. The supporters from the high school were much more vocal than the home supporters. Everyone cheered on their respective favorite teams. The final results were that the boys' match was won by the high school and the girls' match was won by MAS.
