Diary Game ||23-07-2025| How I Spent My Day Today

Dear Diary

Today being Tuesday 5th of August, 2025
I woke up very early and had my usual morning devotion, after observing the morning devotion I took a refreshing bath, dressed and left home to work as early as possible so that I can meet up with our usual daily Covenant Hour of Prayer (CHOP). On my way to the office today it rains though it wasn't heavy, it was just some little drops which left me almost wet by the time I reached the Church.

Reaching the Church I went upstairs to my office to pick up my Bible and notepad, afterwards, I returned downstairs to the Church auditorium for Covenant Hour of Prayer (CHOP) which was already ongoing. The Covenant Hour of Prayer as usual was just one hour between the hours of 6:00am to 7:00am.
At the inclusion of CHOP I went back to my office immediately to commence my daily routine. So many things to do in the office as we are just into a new month, since our Office Accountant was sacked I am left with no option than to be the one to prepare the monthly report for the station which is expected to be forwarded to the Headquarters among others.

By the directives we received from the leadership, we commenced what is known as Junior Bible School (J.B.S). Today being the first day as approved, we put our teens Church in order to serve as our lecture hall. The expected or targeted candidate are children within the age of 10 to 19 years who had not enrolled in the program before.
This morning we had a quiet number of children that came and registered, as the registration was still in progress I went down to the Church auditorium for staff devotion which was just an hour. Returning back to my office after the devotion I continue with some office correspondence, and filling of some template as required by the International Headquarters. Afterwards I commenced the monthly financial report as the Junior Bible School (JBS) lecture also began properly with lecturers invited from different places.

I later left the office to the bank for some financial transactions and for the collection of bank statements to all Church accounts. When I was done at the bank, on my way back to the office I branched to see my bike mechanic to fastened a knot that he loosed on Friday and forgot to put back.

Afterwards, I returned back to the office and continued my assignment for the day which includes the preparation of what we call Mission at a Glance Report and also Financial Report for last month which forwarded to the leadership immediately I was done.

I prepared the schedule for evening service which is our weekly Congregational Prayer Mountain, I prepared the prayer points and other related materials for the service before the service time.

By this time I was seriously famished; I therefore, ordered for food (swallow and egusi soup from a restaurant for my lunch as you can see in the picture below.

The Congregational Prayer Mountain time as scheduled is between 5:00pm to 6:00pm which was just an hour program. When it was time I went down and opened the program with prayers followed by other sections as scheduled in the programme template.

At the closed of the programme, I left office to return home. Upon reaching home, I first and foremost had a refreshing shower before eating dinner cooked by my wife, and that was all for the day as the rest of my day was just with my family and afterwards I retired to bed for the day.
