FISHING AT LEISURE TIME
All work and no play they say makes Danny a dull boy.
While working onboard ship, we usually observe coffee break otherwise called tea break and also do observe launch break on intervals. Even on our working hours where we have completed our daily routine tasks and there seems not to be an outstanding job at the moment, we can sneak out and go for fishing expedition during these periods.
Having the privilege to taste fresh fish directly from the deep sea can be so pleasing. Not only that, you happen to see rare species of fishes that you hardly find around our local marketsand these are what we enjoy over here.

PREPARING FOR FISHING
It is worthy to note that fishes are so smarr, hence you have to be smarter than them if you really want to catch them plenty.
Before boarding ship, we carry along with us different sizes of hook and hook line, we also keep for use during fishing food crumbs and trashed food after meal which serves as baits.
The idea of throwing food into the sea is to attract and draw the fish in large number closer to us to aid us launch our hook into the sea.

You also need to as possible as you can hide the hook from the fishes by using a chunk of fish , meat or chicken to hide it before launching to the sea.
Like I said earlier, fishes are so sensitive and smart, as such when they sight or suspect a trap, they Wil not go for the bait no matter how attractive it seems.
SAFETY IS NOT IGNORED
There is never a way we will overlook safety even in little things as we may assume.
One could wonder how could an incident occure during fishing exercise. Here is how it could happen.
Depending on the size of fish caught on hook and with the hook line in your hands, without using safety hand gloves, the hook line could pierce through your hand hence causing injuries because fishes are so powerful so when caught will want to escape from the hook.
Therefore making use of handglove is of a great necessity when fishing in order to keep your hands safe. It is always fun using our leisure time for fishing.
