I took this captivating picture some months ago, it got clear significance here in my land. Uyo popularly known to be the capital of AkwaIbom became one with a great voice because of the Eyo Uyo. The sculpture showing a man blowing horn signifies reawakening and revelation. The sculpture is in the middle of the city being ibom plaza.
The story of this sculpture drives alot of patriotic movements in the life of the youths and elders of our land. The Eyo Uyo stood his ground on letting the city known as one of the greatest, the horn signifies him speaking for the nation and standing his ground no matter the situation.

What made that picture special?

Before your sculpture is used as one in the center of the city it shows how important you were. The picture really speaks alot about the benefits of being patriotic and important in your town. So many people now earn from his very act of full obligations and patriotism.

Was it any special event, or something that quickly caught your eye?
Not a special event at all, I just wanted to have a clear picture of the Eyo Uyo in my phone. He really played an important role in the city and nation at large. The Eyo uyo was actually God sent to our people and resources too because he protected everything in the city.

Did it remind you of Any story, or Inspire you to write one for our story lovers??
Yeah some years ago, our teacher explained how the sculpture got to that very place. It reminds me of my secondary school days and my teacher. He was actually one of our best teachers back then impacting us with important information mostly outside the school scheme of work.

It was taken by a professional mobile photographer being me. I take good pictures with my phone.
