The Diary game: Attending Prom for outgoing SS3 students (29/7/2025)

Greetings to all members of this wonderful group, it's good to be here. Happy new month to you all. I'll be sharing how I spent my day. As a teacher, I meet all kinds of students and just as students come into the school, others are leaving. Do after 6 years, it was time to send off the current SS3 students and their graduation ceremony was divided into sections and which was subdivided into 3 days. The first day was the valedictory service while the second day was prom.

A prom is a formal party in a secondary school that ends the academic year and serves as a means of sending forth some students. The prom was scheduled to be by 3pm, so I had the whole morning to rest. I woke up a little bit late, by 8am and freshened up before preparing my breakfast. My breakfast was to be spaghetti. I used fresh tomatoes to prepare it.

I had to boil my spaghetti for few minutes before draining out the water, then I went ahead to fry it.

After cooking, I ate and rested, and by 3pm, the food for the prom was still being cooked by the caterers so the prom started at about 6pm in the evening.

Prom is usually a fun time for the students do there were lots to eat and drink and music to dance to.

The director of the school and his family didn't miss sharing the last moments with the students.

The teachers were present to observe all activities by the students. I sat at the back as seen in the picture with my earpiece in my ear.

The occasion ended at about 9pm but before it ended, the students she teachers decided to celebrate a teacher who marked his birthday oh that day.

After the event ended, I went home. I was exhausted and I just warmed my spaghetti and ate again and retired for the night. So that was how my day ended. Thank you for having me here.
