     🥗Okro/ogbono/punky leaf 🍃 🥗

Before I proceed, let me introduce my cooking items and the price here.

  • Okro 300
  • Ogbono 300
  • Punky leaf 🍃 (ugu) 500
  • Smoke titus fish 1,200
  • dry fish 1,000
  • skin meat 300
  • Palm oil 200
  • Salt and seasoning 700
  • Pepper 200.

All was bought in naira, that's Nigeria currency, so the total figure i spent was 4,700 naira. This is just the easiest soup to make, and it doesn't waste much time.

The first step i have to wash my okro and slice it into smaller sizes of my choice as you can see it here and also don't forget to make use of your shopping board when slicing.

Moving on to the second step, i have to cut the skin meat and also piece the smoke titus fish and dry fish inside one plate.

I'm still preparing, so now i have to wash my vegetable leaf 🍃 very well and put it inside the sieve to extract the water.

Now all my cooking stuff is ready, so i have to place my on hit, and i poured a little quantity of water because i want the soup to be thick. Then i added the skin meat first to cook well because that's the only thing that's a bit strong.

At this point, I have to add my seasoning cubes, salt, and pepper. Everything i added was measured according to the quantity of water that i added to the soup.

It was already boiling, and then i had to add the ogbono (bushmango) to it so that it would dissolve well. That was the reason i added it when it was boiling.

After adding the bushmango, i covered it for a few minutes before i now add the sliced okro and stir. It was at this stage that i also added the fish, and i covered it to cook for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, i added the vegetables leaf 🍃 and salt. That was the last thing i added, so after adding all, i have to check if there's any lacking items, but they were none.

Now, the okro soup is ready. Selfie is in progress.

Best regards to you all.
