Finally here we being the last day of the setup. Thoe rain showed us sheke we keep working. Yeah I mean it ,it's was one of those days I won’t forget in a twinkle of an eye. As I stepped into Akpabio International Stadium, my heart was full and happy seeing all that we have deed so far with Our dear God Jehovah for his help. The next day will be the beginning of the 2025 Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and being part of the setup crew, I felt proud to play my small role in something being so big.
Our main assignment was installing the 10 video walls and 10 line array speakers that will carry both picture and sound clearly to thousands of people that will be attending the convention . From the beginning of our installation and set-up, we knew the task was not for lazy people or weak one's. The task needed calculator, energy, strength, power and patience. It required also require focus, teamwork and cooperation . No room for mistakes at this point.
The installation went in stages, and we followed each step carefully:
- We started by unpacking all the crates with the LED screens. Each one was arranged according to position and size. Nothing was random—every TV boxes as it's number.

- After checking where each wall would stand, we measured and marked out the areas. We considered angles so that everyone seated—even at the far corners of the stadium would clearly see very well.
- Fixing the iron frames was the next serious work. These frames would support the video walls and keep them steady. We mounted them, joined the bolts, tested their grip and made sure they were straight and solid and capable of holding the water resistant TV we are setting.

- Then came the delicate part—fixing the LED panels. One by one, we fitted each screen to form a full wall. It required clean hands and sharp eyes. We didn’t rush it. If even one screen was crooked, the picture would look funny.

- After building the walls, we ran the power cables, signal lines and protection covers. Neatness was the key to our work. And God was really helping us through. We didn’t want any cable hanging anyhow or to cause electrical shock.
- For the sound, we mounted the line array speakers right in the center of each video wall. These speakers are very strong and meant to give and push out very clear sound throughout the stadium without echo or noise. We lifted them carefully with ropes and pulleys and adjusted the tilt so the sound could spread evenly.
- Then we powered everything and connected it to the control system. We adjusted the picture quality and sound output, making sure everything was responding well.
It was really our final test run. Honestly, this was the moment we were waiting for. As we tested the screens with real footage, it felt amazing to see the full brightness and smooth transitions. The sound came out sharp and balanced. We walked around the entire stadium, checking visibility and listening for any issues. Everything passed out well.
At one point, we played a short video clip from past conventions. Watching that, I just stood there quietly. I remembered the reason why we are doing all this. It’s not just for our comfort but it’s for the message to all, for unity, and gives Jehovah’s glory.
However, we finally started packing up all we have used for the work and cleaned all the work area to like tidy to avoid any hazard, I felt so happy and satisfied. Everyone was shining their teeth and smiling happily, even though we were all tired. Now, we’re ready for the convention. The convention will start, and people will come from different places to hear Jehovah’s word.
I feel grateful. And I’m looking forward to details how everything will go. Let me sleep and prepare my heart for the day to come.
