Life is like a seed planted on a loamy soil but not rich in organic nutrients, it sprout out shot and started growing slowly and slowly, to grow fast and strong the planter administered fertilizer or manure, but it still doesn't grow fast or even strong because something is lacking, "water". Kindness is like a water which watered the plant to grow fast and strong. In our daily life, kindness is that special and essential virtue that we need grow fast, connect and live happily with ourselves and with one another.

Kindness is an act of inborn characteristics and attitude of ones potential and willingness to care about other people's feelings, needs and struggles. And to love and cherish everyone equally without isolating. "In today’s world, which often feels chaotic and divided, kindness is more necessary than ever". It reminds us of our shared humanity, connects us with others, and spreads positivity in ways that ripple far beyond the original act.

Kindness doesn't not only has to do with giving, but it comprises of rendering of services, helping someone in need, being of help to the helpless, comforting the afflicted, giving hope to the despair, being cheerful, and also willing to help without expecting something in return. We all need to possess this character to be able to forgive one another, care for one another, have human sympathy and obtain the Blessings from God. Therefore helping someone is an essential virtue.

Kindness may not be just in the act of materialistic approaches but it has more to do with caring for other people's feelings, not being selfish and self centered, being willing to give out, to sacrificed, to forfeit, to let go , to forgive, to give and a lot more.

It can be defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. It can a smile to a stranger, a helping hand to someone in need, or comforting words to a friend without expecting anything in return.

The act of kindness is an essential virtue and attributes to a good charactered person, it comes with a lot of sacrifices and demands.

It is a simple yet a virtuous act that can bridge hatred, heal wounds, and inspire hope. Kindness does not require wealth, intelligence, or special talent, it is all in the willingness of the heart and the character of the bearer.

Kindness can come in different forms like ;

1. Being generous
2. Friendly
3. Simple to go with
4. Cheerful
5. Respectful
6. Not self centered
7. Loving
8. An adviser
9. An inspirator
10. A motivator
11. A forgiver
12. He bear no grudges
13. And a helper

In so many occasions, I have been helped and obtained kindness and favor from people. In my primary school days, I stranger I helped showed me kindness and loved. He appreciated my small help with great kindness by Paying for my school fees for that term. This thought me a lot about kindness. Though "kindness is simple but sometimes a difficult characteristics to possess".
It is actually the powerful tool the the world needs to heal, to live together in harmony, to connect in unity. It has the ability to transform the world from a divided world to the world of our dream.

I can still recalled that during our early childhood and upbringing, we were taught the importance of being kind, respectful and humble.

I still remember vividly well one day when someone car got stuck on mud due to bad road . The owner saw us playing street football, he approached us on a gentle approach and asked for our help we helped him moved out the car from the mud, but his legs were dirty with the splashes from the mud, I ran to our house brought a bucket of water for him to rinse his legs, after the whole show, he offered us money, but we turned it down due to what our parents taught us , that it is not good to help someone and expect something in return, that a kind person doesn't have to expect anything in return, even if we are offered something, we should tell the person thank you. We innocently narrated this to the man as our reason for not going to accept his offer, he was left dumbfounded, he followed us to our house, met with our parents and expresses his shock and happiness for him to experience that this kind of children still exist, from that day onward, he became our family friend and that little kindness we offered him brought us something more bigger to our lives. He offered to paid for our terminal school fees that section.

From that day onward I lived with that lesson that a little kindness is what is needed to open great doors, connection people together and heal the world.

I will conclude by saying that kindness is an essential virtue that the world needs to make it a world of our dreams.
