The Shadow in the Room
It happened when I was living by myself in a rented apartment while studying in college. The (damaged) structure consisted of wobbly wooden floors, thin walls and even in summertime, the place remained always cold. And some of my neighbors talked about bad things they claimed had occurred in my room years ago, but I didn’t pay any attention.
I had to stay awake all night setting for an exam and when I finally went to bed it was after four. I could hear a soft knocking sound from the wall right behind my bed as I was falling asleep. I guessed that the neighbors were the cause. This all happened again at another time. Louder. Closer. And I suddenly decided to press my ear against the wall and I heard someone whisper. Just to say: "You need to go 😱."
I got up, switched on the lights and looked all around the room. No one. There were no people in the hallway. My door was secure with a lock. It could have been simple hallucinations caused by tiredness. I turned the lights on, went back to bed and slept.
But the action continued from there and after that, there were several odd things that took place. Every morning at 3:17 AM, my alarm would ring by itself, woke me up. Tiny movements would be seen in objects. My clothes were always airing out because I’d find the door open, totally against my typical habit. Suddenly, one night when I was gazing upon them, I noticed something strange.
A tall and dark figure was at the foot of my bed. Not a single new occurrence happened. It did not move at all. I was unable to make any sound. I didn’t have a breath. No sooner had I looked than it had disappeared.
I spent a few days away in my friend’s home. During that dream, I went back to the apartment and the shadow pulled me into the closet. I could tell its claws were touching me. I woke up out of breath and there were red marks on my arm which looked like fingerprints.
Were the events that happened, real? A dream? Sleep paralysis? I’ll never find out. I never made another visit to that apartment. After breaking the lease, I moved and started living elsewhere. When I came back the following day, the landlord told me they hadn’t had anyone come back from the room more than once during the last five years.

My dear friend sometimes horror are such realistic we couldn't differentiate when you told large size figure touching you for the moment I felt horrendous.

This can be frightening though. I've experienced this countless times especially with my closets or with a teddy bear. Back in the days when I used to have toys as a kid, I'd sleep with them and cuddle them with my arms. In the middle of the night when I make up, I won't find the toy. It's when I flash light on my bed I'd see a scary demon. Oh God. Just imagine having a raised BP at a tender age. It scared the hell out of me. I burnt the toy the morning that came.
