Playing the steem memory game and sharing appetizing dishes
Hello friends and it feels great to be back here with y'all again playing the game.
Honestly the game be a little bit addictive and is more fun when played with others, although I don't have anyone to play with me today.
So I decided to hop into the game today and have some fun matching identical food items, I hoped it would really be a fun adventure and for sure it was.
When I tried the first time I got a really low score of 1348, I was immediately sad, but I immediately felt like maybe because I was still rusty, having not played the game for today and it was the first time I was playing it, I seemed to be making a lot of mistakes and having a poor memory too.
Well I've been sick for the past two days, and for a while I've been down so I guess the game is just what I needed to get right back up.
I decided I should play a little more and encouragingly I was getting a higher score, it was getting very interesting matching the different items together, but soon I decided I should take a little break, before I continued playing and arrived at my highest score for the day which was 1511, I know it's low, I really hope to get up to 1600 but it feels like it's impossible.

Ok surprisingly, we're still in the food theme so let's share more of those amazing meals and desserts we love.
I haven't really said anything about a drink since I started so I decided to give it a shot.
There was this time my cousin came over and she made a really tasty drink known as coconut milk.
It was very easy and simple to make, I'll share the recipe with you.
- Get your coconut and grind it
- Separate the chaff from the coconut water
- Add your powdered or liquid milk and a little sugar
Just three simple steps and I could literally taste what was the best flavor in history, it was something to die for, we finished it at once.
It is best served chilled and also served along with meals or as just normal drinks, trust me you won't regret having it.
The next thing I want to talk about can be classified as a road side meal or street snack or food, but trust me it is very expensive.
It is locally known as Suya.
It is seasoned meat, either beef, chicken, lamb etc.
But what is usually prevalent is seasoned beef, it is well spiced and garnished then a fire is made where it is grilled in open space allowing the tempting smells to attract customers, and it sure attracts a load of customers including me.
When sold it is packaged with Sliced Onions and cabbage and served with any drinks of your choice to enjoy those chewy pieces of meat, the taste is savoury and addictive, you can all try purchasing it someday.
The last thing in my item for today is a dessert.
Cake is usually for very special occasions like Weddings etc.
But I love homemade cakes a lot, I remember when the learning challenge where we were asked to make cakes was being hosted, we ate cakes every week, specially home made.
The cake you see in the picture below was the one used to celebrate my parents 17 hear anniversary, we decided against getting any outside and decided to just do ours out home.
Using:
- Flour
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Butter
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
- Water
You can add colour if you want any special colour at all, It was real fun to make and it came out a success gracing the occasion for us with it's presence, everyone that came really loved the cake and I won't lie I enjoyed it too.
Well that's my fun for today, hope to see y'all tomorrow...
