My Diary Game: Buying From Children's in the Market (18/08/2025)

hello beautiful ladies and cuties gentlemens!
greetings from jeromy@25
Honestly today, I went to the market with my usual list. (use offort market, uyo.) The sun was bright, they market womens, market girls 😂and market men's filled the streets, and voices echoed from every corner calling out prices, bargaining, and inviting customers. especially those beautiful girls that called me to come and buy but I didn't because today was not for them.
On my list today were:
Cow beef
Stockfish
Waterleaf
periwinkle
fresh pepper
and I even bought drink join.
As I walked around, I noticed children struggling to sell their little items. Their voices were small, yet filled with hope, as they called out for people to patronize them.
A milestone memories of My Childhood
Seeing them took me back to my own childhood. I remembered those days w hen I and my two sisters carried bread, waterleaf, fish, and other items on our heads, walking through the streets and market squares to sell. It wasn’t always easy. Sometimes we would call out to people, begging them to buy, but many would just walk past without even looking at us. Yet, we never gave up because that was how we helped our family survive.
The Kind-hearted, and irreplaceable Mother of mine.
One thing I will never forget is the kindness of my mother. No matter how hard things were, she always made sure we ate something before leaving the house to sell. She believed that no child should go out hungry, even if we didn’t have much. my irreplaceable mother, shown us love and discipline shaped us. She taught us the value of hard work, humility, and kindness to others.
My reasoning why I Bought From the Children
So today, when I saw those children, I couldn’t ignore them. I decided to buy from them not just because I needed the items, but because I know how much a single customer means to a struggling child.
Supporting them reminded me of my own journey, my mother’s sacrifices, and how far life has brought me. It was more than just a market transaction it was a way of honoring my past and encouraging the future of those children.

"I bought cow beef, stockfish, and waterleaf but what I carried home was more than food. It was a memory, a reminder, and a blessing."
finally
we never at least one regret or rejected to go and make some sales for our mother and for ourselves. because it was that same money she used in taking care of us.my advice to the new generation of Gen z. please help your family and yourself.
