The Diary Game: Taking Care Of My Sick Son And Handling Shop Business 21/06/2026

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, I still remain your friend @joychi102. How is everything going? I know you want to know if my own is going well, let me tell if so that you can see it yourself.

I was worried throughout last night because of how sick my son has been, I have always suffer during rainy seasons, he is allergic to rain. My boy coughed throughout the night and when we woke up I took the cough Syrup I had at home and gave to him to subside the cough.

When I finished administering the syrup to him, I went to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast for the family my kids specifically, I boiled yam and fried vegetable sauce for breakfast and also for my kids to take to school for their lunch. When I finished I dressed them up and took them to the school.

The weather was not so friendly, it was very cloudy so I dropped them and hurried back to the store to open it. After opening I attended to my customers and covered some of the items I took outside incase the rain comes it won't pour on the items.

As customers were not coming again because of the weather, I changed my clothes and took the pepper and started measuring them, I didn't want the previous ones I measured to finish before I start doing it so I measured alot before I stopped when it was afternoon and ran to the school to pick my kids.

As I came back from picking my kids from school, I gave them lunch and bath them before I came back to the shop with my boy, he was still very hot, I had to carry him through out the afternoon, I wish he will just stop being allergic to cold weather or outgrow this phase so that my mind can be at rest. I was told by the doctor that he will outgrow it one day so I am still hoping he does.

By 7 in the evening, he was already getting better and I was relieved to attend to my customers, I allowed him to go and play with other kids in the compound opposite to my shop, I asked his elder sister to take care of him so that he won't injure himself.

By 8 in the evening I packed everything and we went back to the house. Since the weather was cold I bought beef so that I can make beef pepper soup inorder for us to eat for the weather. After my kids finished eating I gave my boy the cough syrup and he drank then I boiled water and bath it.

When my kids had gone to sleep, I prepared stew with the remaining meat so that I can boil rice on Sunday for us to eat to church. After I finished preparing the stew I called it a day my friends.
