Locally, Beetroot native name for the Igbo's is known as "Ibiit". Beetroot is a very essential fruit that gives out nutrients in the body.

Beets are not only nutritious but are also delicious and easy to put into your diet. Beets can be used to make juice, soup, salad, eaten raw, etc. Beetroot is a delicious, versatile vegetable and super food because they are rich in essential nutrients.
