MATHEENA sa BUWAN NG WIKA

“Buwan ng Wika” is a yearly celebration in every school and each school has a unique way in celebrating it. The goal of the celebration is to highlight the foundation of our culture, and unity in our country.

This year, Matheena actively participated the said activity wherein they will be wearing any filipino dress and will walk down the aisle while the judges are rating them. She wore a white kimono dress while bringing small umbrella and a white fan. It signifies how the rich filipino people wear when there were occasions many years ago.

The language is not just a simple thing in communicating but it is a way of connecting other people in every region of the country. In her participation, she shows the importance of using and improving our own language especially that we are already into technology.

Matheen’s experience of the said activity is not just improving her confidence but also to show how proud she was that she is a Filipino. As she learn the filipino language everyday is a way showing love and respect of our country.

The activity started around 1 in the afternoon and her grade level ended at 3 in the afternoon.

After the activity, we then went to LG GARDENWALK to celebrate success and had our dinner at our favorite fastfood Greenwich.
