"One picture, a thousand stories-Wk15"

Hello everyone, I am glad to be back again to be a part of this weeks contest. Who missed me? I Had a lot to catch up on, hopefully I will be more consistent. I told us on my last blog about how I had lost my job, so I had been up and about looking for how to get another job and it’s been a lot.

I go out in the morning and come back very tired. Saw one of two jobs here and there but their demands are not suitable for me. One demanded I Start working by 7:30am and stop by 9pm and the pay is not even that encouraging. More like slavery to me. The other one is in a salon for both men and women but my people are not not comfortable with it. Well the search continues. What can a girl do? I will have to keep looking.

Well, enough of my stories and let me say what Ai am here to say and that is participate in the contest about a picture and the story behind it. So I am on my natural hair and it has been an issue dealing with it . So this particular day, I decided that I want to go and make my hair in this salon.

I am staying with my uncle for now but I have not gone to any salon around to really make my hair, this day was the first and I had to look around to see where I could make the hair that is not so expensive. So I find this fine salon and when inside. I first I was feeling somehow and was thinking that there price will be too expensive for me but it was manageable after I priced them.

I like the look of the place and I saw some fine pictures on the wall and I took a snap of them. The one I liked more was kind of somehow to me because I was trying to understand the picture. I think it s an image of a man and woman but the two of them seem to be one apart from their heads which is separate from the head region. A look at the picture will help you to understand what I am saying.

I am seeing one person who is the woman because of the shape but they are two standing by a tree and it’s as they are dancing because the woman seem to have a cloth flowing from her at her behind. They seem to have a city setting behind them. It reminded me of the movies we used to watch like Nigerian movies when two people will be inlove and they will be playing by the tree side inside the bush but this time around, it’s seem like a city setting.

Another think I think of the picture is that It feels like two people blending into one just like how two hearts become one and that’s how a husband and wife suppose to be in their union.

The picture was not taken by any one but me and Ai like it so much. I like arts and I watch alot of Chinese and Korean movies and I love their beautiful art works and dressings and this reminded me of it.
