One picture, a thousand stories-Wk14"

Share with us one captivating picture about anything at all and tell us a story.

This picture was taken on the day of my matriculation into the university. I was so happy that day that I woke up around 5am, thinking that it was already morning.

That day was my happiest day, because my family was coming to celebrate with me.
I woke up in the morning and I thanked my creator for making today a bright new day and also asked God to lead my parents on their way, mercifully.

After praying, I did some little chores before entering inside the school, when I got to the school, I was very busy looking for my parents and I didn't see them, our school was very crowded that particular day.
So I started calling them on the phone, but the network was very bad, and I started crying because my friends were already taking pictures with their families.

I turned my back and I saw my little sister, and she shouted mercybliss, wow, I was so happy hearing this name because I know that is only my sister who always calls my name in full.
She asked me the reason I was crying. I told her that they were tears of joy. I hugged her and my mother.

I was not really happy, because my elder brother was not able to make it; he had promised me to be around on my matriculation day, but something more important came up.
So my mum looked at my face and said to me, Don't worry, your brother will be around when you graduate, How did this woman know what was in my mind, I asked myself.

What made that picture special?

This picture is one of my best pictures, which is very special to me. This day, my journey in education started, and my parents and siblings coming to celebrate with me made it more special.
Family will always remain the best no matter what happened.

I was very happy that day, my mother really made that momerable for me, she cooked different kinds food, drinks and even invite her friends to come and celebrate with me.
Seeing all of them that day made this particular picture special.

Was it any special event, or something that quickly caught your eye?

Many things caught my eye that day, I saw many of my coursemates looking so beautiful in their dresses, some were even putting on makeup to look good.

But what caught my eye the most that day was when my girlfriend came to greet me, I was asking her, pls, who are you, wow, she was looking so beautiful ❤️, her dress, her hair, even her makeup, I was not even able to recognize her again.

It inspired me to write a story. That day was among the best days in my life; it was the day my academic journey started.
A lot happened that very day, people dancing, singing, and others snapping pictures with their families.

This picture was taken by my younger sister. My younger sister can snap very well, so I asked her to snap the picture, and it came out very beautiful.
