Hello friends I will love to share with us one of our local food which is vegetable soup.
This season in my state is vegetable season of any kind.
So today I decided to share with us how I Cook my vegetable soup.
This particular vegetable is not really difficult to cook, is very simple to cook so far you have the right ingredients to use for it to bring out the taste of the food.
Firstly I went to the market and purchased the ingredients I will be using to cook my vegetable soup. The price of food stuff keeps skyrocketing not minding that this is raining season which price of food stuff should drop but instead it keeps going up.
Well I bought the stuff that I needed and I came back home to cook.
Before I start with the steps I used, I will love to listen out the ingredients one by one, adding with steem price and naira price.

Before I proceed with my cooking step, I will love to mention some benefits of vegetable soup.

STEP 1
Before I start cooking, I started by washing the meat, cowskin, and stockfish and I season it with a little of onions, pepper, seasoning cubes and I steam it for it to Cook probably, then I wash my periwinkle and added to my proteins that is already cooked.
After steaming my meat, I wash my vegetable with clean water for like three times to avoid sand because of rain, after washing I slice my vegetable to become very tiny, I use a little salt to smash it.
Then I wash my water leaves very well with clean water and I slice to become tiny and I keep it aside.
Then I went ahead and grand my fresh pepper and Grayfish and I keep them aside.
Before cooking, I make sure the place was clean to avoid sand, and all my ingredients were well prepared and ready for cooking.
Step 2
I love frying my onions with red oil before cooking, I pot my clean pot of soup on fire, I added red oil and when the oil was hot, I added onions to it.
STEP 3
Then I added my grounded Grayfish and fresh pepper to the hot oil, and I added my proteins.
I let it cook for a while making sure that the oil and the protein was well mixed.
STEP4
At this stage, I will be adding water leaves, I do this because I want the soup to be very fresh.
When I added the water leaves and I stir it to make sure the food was tasting very well, I added 3 seasoning cubes and stirred it.
STEP 5
This was the final stage, I added vegetable and I stirred it immediately, making sure that all ingredients is well mixed and my soup was ready for consumption.
At this point, my soup is ready.
I deal with it with Garry though you can consume it with fofo or any swallow of your choice.
So guys this where I will stop today.
