A MINI-MEETUP For Steemit Freshly-Baked Graduates
The problem of Chemsa was unity; everyone had their circus, their clique. I fell for this too, meaning I am not exempt, but as time passed, things changed. We built a family, the Chemsa Steemians family. One goal was a showcase of our generosity and the urge to make unity thrive. If Chemsa, a group of science educationists studying chemistry, cannot stand as one mind, flagging off pride and cultivating unity, then let's live by example.
In my own capacity, I wasn't hesitant to show a few who decided to join Steemit a few things they needed to know, and today here we are as a family, a few who joined lately mentored by different people who have learnt every basic of the platform. I would like to thank this fellow for this wonderful portrayal of humility and show of love by coming. I can't speak less of this occasion; truly this was a memory.

How it all began!
Every day begins with a plan, but this was very impromptu, and the level of compliance was very shocking to me. Prior to this, we asked a few Steemians in the national group for their assistance. We informed them of our choice to get together as recent graduates and strengthen our ties. This was more of a gathering of University of Uyo undergraduates and graduates. You are welcome as long as you are a Steemian and have recently graduated from any institution; there were actually no restrictions based on school.
On the other hand, because we delayed our sign-out, many people saw these messages and encouraged us to hold the event with their support. @bossj23 kept up with the reminder, but no fixed date was set since the examination final date was subject to change.
Finally we were done, and on this very day a circular was sent across telling all graduates and undergraduates to join us at a very popular spot, Akmag Hotel... We left. The Steemians from our route were graduates (@bossj23 and @dwings) and me and undergraduate @us-andrew. I was supposed to meet my seminar supervisor, but I sacrificed that meeting for this gathering because I knew how beneficial this gathering is. Most of us came with our sign-out T-shirt with a colourful tapestry of marker designs.
Our meeting point was adjacent to Tropicana, so before we got here, we trooped into this place to shop for everyone that will be coming. Some customers and staff were made to sign on our shirts, and some very philanthropic fellows showered us with gifts and prayers. It was a nice experience.
We left the venue, ordered a few drinkables, and filled the table. Sooner than we thought, the event began, and many trooped in twos and threes. A few undergraduate Steemians, like @deportal and @arella01, didn't make it, and until the time of writing this I didn't notice because the fun was so great. Many of us may have been wondering who the host was. It was made clear that we had no host, and obviously everyone was the host, but certainly we had organisers and the mastermind of this gathering.
An opening speech was made by bossj23, followed by a gaming session. This gaming session focused basically on completing a song's lyrics. If you are well conversant with a song, it is played and stopped halfway, and then a mic is pointed at you to complete the song. There was no prize attached, but the vibes were really seen in not knowing who the mic will be pointed at...

The last game we played was a competition, ladies first. The lot fell on @bee5 and @usoro01 to compete. They were given a plate of smoked cow meat (soya) each. At this point I was salivating; how I wish I was in his game. The game was a first-to-finish kind of game; whoever eats the soya becomes the winner. usoro01 was choked and been won

It was time for the guys to compete, and the lot fell on @basil20 and @edu-chemist. Their task was to finish a bottle of Maltina without anything remaining. Edu-chemist's drinking strategy made him win, and unfortunately for Basil20, his drink foamed. Congrats to the winner; everything we did in this gathering was very fun.
I can't speak of all the moments in this mini-meetup; a clip is just below to speak more of this event. I will recommend you watch to the end to see the names of the graduates and their beautiful and handsome faces as they document their names in a jotter.
A big thanks to @whizzbro4eva and his friend, and emmalex25's friend who are also steemians for showing up
