The diarygame 22/9/2025;A happy day of having secondary school boy.

Just like yesterday when my son started kindergarten, and I was anxiously waiting on the gate for him to come back. That day was a lonely day for me because my companion has gone to school. Now that little baby is growing to become a boy that can go to school on his own and take good care of himself. Wow life !!!.

After his entrance exams, he gained admission into JSS1 that's junior secondary school 1, and today their academic activities started in full.

During the weekend, he was readily waiting for Monday to commence his school and guess what he woke up as early as 5 am to remind me that it is morning. I showed him the time and told him to go back to sleep until 6 am since the school is not too far from us.

By 6.55am I have prepared them and made sure they took their breakfast before leaving. Here you can see my son and his siblings ready for school!

My work that morning was done and I rush to open my shop for the business of the day; it was good to tell you all that school times are business time, especially for us that sells in the street. During this time, business moves and breaks when everyone has gone to school and work then continues in the evening for the preparation of the next day. Today's business was excellent.

Afternoon it was my duty to pick him up from school since my husband is not around; I went early not knowing that dismissal time was 3:30 pm; I waited for almost 30 minutes before they closed for the day, and I saw my son and my neighbor's daughter coming out from their classes majestically.

We got home safely, rested for a while and ate our lunch; I checked his book and helped him with his homeworks.

The next thing on my list for him is getting his required textbooks so that everything will be good. From the school list, all the textbooks and workbooks are 50 thousand Naria which is roughly 265 Steem ..

School materials are becoming extremely expensive to an average Nigerian , sometimes I asked how low income earners or single parents are surviving the economy and hardship.

It was evening; I went to the market to prepare plantain porridge for the family. To be a mother, a wife and a business woman is a story I will tell in another day. Until then, this was my diary for today, 22-9-2025.
