The robbery that took place last night

Hello friends, how are you all doing today? I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day. Today I will be sharing with you all a tragic incident that took place last night.

I have never experienced a robbery before, not because I'm always too careful, but because the grace of God kept me. The night was meant for us to sleep and rest, but some set of people chose to use this opportunity to invade people's houses and rob them.

This tragic incident took place last night about some minutes past 12:00 midnight. I was sleeping when I started hearing a banging on the door, though it wasn't my door, but the bang came from our neighbor's compound.

I'm staying in an upstairs apartment so at first the sound was like it was in my dreams, then it started sounding and banging very seriously and loud, and that was when I woke up only to see my brother looking through the window.

I joined him to look and I saw 4 guys with knives and guns hitting people's door, breaking and entering and robbing them off their assets.

Immediately I took my phone and hid it inside the waste bin outside as well as my brothers POS cash, the money was much it was up to 200,000 naira equivalent to 1000 steem, so I divided it and kept like 20,000 naira equivalent to 100 steem and hid the rest of the money.

All I thought was that after the compound that our own would be next, I was scared because I know that during a robbery when they do not find what the want they might beat you up in a way that you might end up in a hospital.

So from our upstairs apartment some of my male neighbors woke up and came out, the started pointing touch light at them and they started running, they left with the properties they stole from those innocent people.

But because of the fear we were all unable to sleep that yesterday night, infact we were even checking out the environment till it was about some few minutes pass 3 in the morning before going back to bed.

I have been hearing of robbery but yesterday night I saw it for myself though I wasn't the victim and I pray that it shouldn't happen to me because I can imagine the fear and intimidation.
