Update #118: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! (The Diary Game - 20/06/25)

On the 20th day of June 2025, I played basketball for the first time this year and j was so excited about the situation because I have been looking for opportunities to go to the basketball court this year as the place is very far from my home. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

When I woke up in the morning i was very focused because I needed to do alot of things before going to the basketball court and I just don't want to waste any of my time. The weather was ok and there was no sign of rain at all, I was glad but I wasn't 100% sure it rain that day. I left the house to buy something and I took a picture of a particular part of the compound and also a picture of the rain on my way to the shop.

I did my morning routine on time and started doing the necessary things I needed to do in steemit before I go to the basketball. I even had to create more space on my device because I planned to take alot of pictures both on my way to the basketball court and when am in the basketball court premises which is a primary school. I don't have much space in my device because it's storage is filled up as I have used the phone for more than 2 years.

It was already time for me to go and lunch was ready. It is very important for me to eat before embarking on such journey and I had to just eat small and I intended to complete my meal when am back, lol. I combed my hair intensively, I haven't had a haircut for 3 months now. I arranged the things I will need in my bag and I took some pictures in the compound before leaving the house.

The sun was very hot and I hoping a heavy rainfall wasn't coming because when it falls we hardly play basketball. The basketball court doesn't have a roof and is always filled with water after a heavy rainfall. I trekked a long distance before entering the bus just to reduce my transportation cost.

I didn't fail to take pictures in the bus too, I had enough space for pictures in my phone after doing some cleanup in my phone that morning that's why I was freely taking alot of pictures. I finally arrived at the basketball and I met few people there, most of the other guys didn't come early. The primary school is very big and it has a football field as well. A lot of guys were playing football on it but I forgot to capture that moment.

I met a new friend of mine who was the main person that made me to go to the basketball court that day because we had something important to discuss physically and he said he will play basketball first so after taking some pictures of them while they were playing I kept my phone at a safe place and joined three other guys who were at the other side of the court. I made them four and we paired ourselves into teams of two and played against each other.

I had alot of fun and I noticed one hour has already passed. I stopped playing basketball and reached out to my phone then I called the attention of my friend who was still playing then we started our discussion immediately and it took more than 30 minutes. Few minutes past 7pm we both left the basketball court after successful deal and I headed straight home. Everywhere was really dark and I still had to trekked the distance I trekked before entering bus to the basketball court.

This time around I trekked after coming down from the bus and I couldn't take a clearer that night. I charged my phone and took my bath before I could eat the rest of my lunch. After eating I admired the numerous pictures I snapped that day. I then replied to some messages on WhatsApp before I could focus fully on steemit.
