Writing Expedition ✍️ 03 : Have Fun while Writing! (The Diary Game - 20/07/25)

On the 20th day of July 2025, I attended a very important meeting and I went there with my dues. If you check the previous diary game post I wrote you will notice that I was making some preparations for this meeting on that diary game post. I finally attended the meeting and everything was successful. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

Every Sunday I serve 6am mass and I was very busy that early as I woke up 4am and started doing somethings before preparing to go to church. There was electricity in my neighborhood and I was happy about that. My phone was fully charged as well and I decided to carry it with me to the church. I serve mass at our new outstation and I do go there with our Reverend father and Catechist. Our Reverend father travelled and we received a visiting Reverend father that will represent him for the mean time.

We expected a Reverend father to also come to the outstation from a big catholic school in the communication I live in and we never knew another Reverend father was inside the Parish house waiting to follow us to the outstation. We have already left the church with a parishioners car when we got the information so someone there had to direct him to the junction of the street where the outstation if while I was assigned to stay at the junction and wait for them so that I can direct them to the exact location of the outstation.

I have already left the church few hours ago after I successfully served mass at our outstation and came back to our parish to keep some of the sacred vessels we used at the outstation. Most of the members of Altar Servers refused to follow I and my sacristan to the meeting that afternoon just because there was a father's day program that day and foods and drinks will be given to everyone in attendance. It pissed me off that they don't want to attend this important meeting.

I just had to let them be and I went with my sacristan and when we arrived at the catholic church that hosted the meeting last month we had to stay at the back and wait till when their mass end. After the mass ended the meeting started immediately. I'm the deanery Provost and I started doing two things at once which is my duty as a Provost and also representing my parish as the president of the association in my parish since non of my members came to represent me as the only one that came is also an executive in the deanery.

The meeting was successful and alot of people from different parishes attended it. Of all the parish that attended, my parish was the second to the last number of parish with lesser members in attendance. Food and drinks were also shared in the meeting and I took my drinks home. The executives were giving double soft drinks since it was very many. I was very tired when I arrived home and I rested for a while after taking my bath.

I picked up my phone after resting and thinking at the same time, checked my steemit notifications and I noticed the total number of my notifications that moment was 1000. I have been having some many notifications for a long time but I don't mark them as read till they get to this amount I saw. I replied to the comments on my post and also voted some posts before I marked my notifications as read which means if I get one more notification after that it will be seen as 1 and not 1001.
