SC-S25W1: Drawing kodomo anime

Hello friends.....
I'm welcoming you to the first week of @jesusnunez 's anime contest tagged SC-S25W1: Drawing kodomo anime.

And this is my entry...
This is Sonic the Hedgehog;
Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game series and media franchise created by the Japanese developers Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima, and Hirokazu Yasuhara for Sega. The franchise follows Sonic, an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who battles the evil Doctor Eggman, a mad scientist, and his robot army.
Sonic is usually an hairy blue character with a movement of the speed of light.

The tools I used were;
Blue Ball pen
2B pencil
HB pencil
Sharpener
Eraser
A4 paper....

Kodomo they say , is a genre of anime for little kids...
That the drawing should exaggerate feeling and emotions, like sadness, anger , happiness,joy etc. In order to super excite the children watching it.
So I decided to draw Sonic in action. When he is in action, he usually carries a very serious and angry countenance..
I mean, look ate his face.
I really took time to make this artwork, I hope I get lucky @jesusnunez.

So , I started by using my HB pencil, the blue on to sketch out a figured that would help my draw and paint it.
After that , I used the 2B to deepen it. But not so deep because I was going to use a blue pen to paint it later.
Also , since it was going to be an hairy on, detailed lines were not really necessary. So I had to avoid that.

After deepening with the 2B as you can see, I drew the eye, mouth and nose. The here, I started shading the legs.
At for, I didn't want to make it hairy . But since normally, Sonic hedgehog is hairy, so I had to add the hair painting still with the se ball pen. But in the next slide.

So after shading with the ball pen , deepening some parts, I also added the hair whole, I advanced up towards the top
Then, started shading the ear

For the eye ,and every other components of the face, I didn't want to use pen to do that, so I had sed pencil, by this time, I already lost my eraser, so I was extra careful,not to make silly mistakes. Because I wouldn't have what to clean it with.
As you can see, I successfully shaded the face using the 2B smooth pencil.

The shoes,
I bet, this is what really took my time. I was literally on this for like 45 minutes. It took a lot of time.
From shading to detailing , to adding shadows, everything done with precision.
You might wonder if this was done with only the ball pen and 2B pencil. But yes, it was....

Sonic moves at hypersonic missile speed...so capturing it like this requires talent... I've dropped one of my best today, this is my first time posting here, after being compelled by a friend. I hope I get the best out of it.
My final results looks amazing....
