Today, I played Steem RetroGame again. I did not plan it. I was checking my personal computer, I saw this game link. I clicked it and I was back in space. I was facing those weird aliens again. The background was shining with stars. The music started. I smiled. This game never gets old.

◉Steem Retrogame: High Score Fever.

My spaceship was ready. The screen was quiet for a moment. Then the enemies arrived. One by one, line after line. Green monsters, blue aliens and those red eyed freaks. They came fast. I moved left and right, trying to killing them. At first, it was smooth. I cleared the first few waves without losing any life. I felt proud. My fingers were working well.

When I reached Wave 6, the game changed. Enemies started dropping faster. They did not wait. Some moved side to side. Some dropped bombs. I had to be very alert. One wrong move and it was over. I stayed focused. My eyes did not blink. My hands did not stop. I kept shooting. The sound of bullets and explosions filled my room.

Wave 8 and 9 were very hard. Enemies came in big numbers. Some needed two shots to die. Some flew in strange patterns. I played well with losing my life. My lives started going down. From five to four to three. I made breath deep and continued. I wanted to break my first score. That was my goal.

Then I entered Wave 10. It felt like a war. The whole screen was full of aliens. No space to hide. I had to dodge every second. I fired non stop. One hand on arrows, one on space button to fire. My ship got hit. I lost one life.
Wave 11 came quickly. My score was already past 150. I was excited but also nervous. I know little mistake can end all. The aliens were faster now. They dropped in groups. I kept shooting. I moved side to side like crazy. Somehow, I made it to Wave 12.

This was the hardest part. The final push. The screen was packed. More than twenty enemies at once. Big ones, small ones fast ones. I could not breathe properly. I just played. My heart was beating fast and ship was cornered. I shot as much as I could. I tried to escape. But it was over. I got hit. Game over.

My total score was 178. I saw on screen, for a second, I did not speak. Then I smiled. I felt proud. It was my best game yet. I beat my last score. I survived twelve waves. I fought like a real retro warrior.

My friends, this game is simple, but it tests you. It’s not about graphics and fancy effects. It’s about timing, focus and quick action. Every wave feels different. Every enemy has its own move. You can not relax. You have to stay sharp.

I recommend this game to everyone. No matter you are a newcomer or old. It will give you a thrill. Just play once and you’ll know what I mean. I hope you also try the game and share your score. Let’s keep the retro spirit alive.

Thank You My Friends!
