One picture, a thousand stories-Wk16"
Hello friend this is my participation in One picture, A thousand stories... Contest by @fortwis09
This is my own selfie, I clicked it with my mobile camera when I was returning from my friend's house, actually my friend lives in the capital of our country, Delhi, his house is located at a distance of about 65 km from my house, maybe 10-12 days ago I went to his house with my wife for 2 days during the weekend.
We both often do this, when we get bored, we go to some nearby place for 1 or 2 days and after spending time, return home.
This time also when we were going, we reached the destination without any obstruction, but on Monday when we were returning, after walking a few kilometres, we had to face a very long traffic jam.
What happened was that we ourselves did not notice that instructions to make the traffic one way had already been issued from that Monday. The month of Sawan [Hindi month] is going on in our country, and in this month, millions of devotees bring water from the Ganges by walking on the road to perform “Jalabhishek” [Offering water to the idol of Lord Shiva] of Lord Shiva and on the festival of “Mahashivratri”, [A hindu festevil] they offer that water to Lord Shiva and prove their faith and devotion. On that Monday also, the administration had blocked one side of the road for these pedestrians.
These pedestrians walk miles on foot in a special dress, they are called "Kanwadia" in our country. The government makes many arrangements for their convenience and safety.
And because of the first diversion on that day, there was a jam due to thousands and lakhs of people walking face to face on the same side, my car also got stuck in this jam and we completed that 1 hour journey in about 6 hours by slowly moving slowly. Being stuck in that jam, the nerves of my legs became numb due to continuously pressing the clutch. And I felt that now I may not be able to drive the car in such a situation. But there was no chance of escape. I was not able to get my car out of the traffic jam anywhere. And I was crawling along with the convoy.
That day I vowed that from now on I will travel with a driving assistant even on short trips.
I also want to invite @solperez, @zulbahri and @wlin here.
Thank you for reading my post. I pray for progress and a happy future for all Steemians.

Guao! Esta publicación puede servir de argumento para que se comiencen a diseñar autos con sistemas para volar, en caso de que haya atascos como este. Un recorrido de seis horas, cuando debió ser de una hora es mucho tiempo.
Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.
Thanks for reading my post and commenting so nicely on it, I have heard that some countries have invented things like flying cars and drone taxis, research is going on on them. And maybe in the near future we will not be surprised if we see them flying from the roofs of our houses.
Best wishes.
Jajaja. Seguro que ya la ciencia debe estar ocupándose de eso.
