The person you see in the picture is Simul Uncle. Jhal Muri is very famous in our Kotchandpur. Today's story is about coming to him to eat Jhal Muri.

Just in front of Payra Chattar in Kotchandpur Bazaar, a man could be seen every afternoon in a van — Shimul Uncle. He wore a lungi and a ticket shirt, had a constant smile on his face, and a tin bowl of Jhal Muri in his hand. This man's Jhal Muri was not just a muri, it was some kind of magic — the joy of a child skipping school, the comfort of a lover in trouble, or the afternoon snack of a retired master.

The main secret of Shimul Uncle's Jhal Muri was that special spice in his hand — a strange combination of coriander-cumin powder, raw chili, lemon juice, and his own roasted dry chili powder. Many in the market tried to copy that taste, but no one could.

Whenever I went to buy jhalmuri at his shop, I had to stand in line. In short, his shop was always crowded. Shimul Uncle's jhal muri is popular with everyone who walks through the Kotchandpur market.

There was a saying in the market:

"If someone is upset, feed him a bowl of Shimul Uncle's jhal muri - it will make him feel better!"

I always take jhalmuri from here when I come home. Everyone in our house likes Shimul Uncle's jhal muri. Especially my sister. She is very happy with Shimul Uncle. However, due to the Eid rush, I can't see him from the afternoon. He comes around seven in the evening every day. I had been missing his jhalmuri for a few days, so when I was in the market this afternoon, he gave me the phone number of the shop next door and said, "Call me when Shimul Uncle comes to sell jhalmuri."

I got a call from that shop at 7:30. Immediately I took my bike and ran to Shimul Uncle's Jhal Muri. When I got there, I saw a very long line. After waiting for a while, my turn came. And I brought Jhal Muri from Shimul Uncle. And after bringing it home, we all had a lot of fun eating Jhal Muri.
