Today's children are tomorrow's future.👩❤️👩
Hello dear friends in the Steem Kids & Parents community. I am delighted to contribute as I participate in the "Today's children are tomorrow's future" contest.

🧒 What kind of food is most suitable for the proper mental and physical development of a child?
If left on their own, children have the type of food they would like to eat, some lollipop in a dish filled with creamy ice cream, garnished with some candy bars, chocolate with strawberry flavour. That is every child's dream.
But we parents know too well, that for a child to grow well physically and mentally, they would have to feed on a balanced diet that covers the different classes of food. Children these days don't like eating vegetables, but that is what they need. I am lucky that my kids love fruits and proteins. I put in a lot of effort to add vegetables, legumes, onions and other food items to their food.
🧒 How can parents play a role in instilling good habits in children (such as reading on time, discipline, and politeness)?
Children can be instructed to read and told to be polite, appreciative and respectful. A parent could say to the child, "Did you greet?", "Always remember to say thank you!", "Junior, that was rude, say I'm sorry". This can go a long way to shape a child, instilling good habits. But what works best every time is examples.
Say whatever you have to say to your kids, but don't be surprised, because in the end, they will likely do what you are doing and very little of what you said to them. If you want your kids to say thank you, say thank you to them when they do things for you. Apologise sincerely in their presence and they will quickly copy your examples. So, pick up a book and read to them or just engage in studying, and as they see you reading, they will read too.
🧒 What kind of effects does spending too much time on mobile or tablet have on children?
Children always want to copy you. If you spend a lot of time buried in your phone, your kids will love to do the same. They will want to see what you are doing and will also get obsessed with the phone.
Steemians who are parents should limit the amount of time they allow their kids to see them immersed in their phones. Let them know that you are working with your phone.
🧒 What kind of games or activities are most suitable for increasing confidence and creativity in children?

Give your kids the opportunity to associate with others, learning social skills and conflict management. Let them play and interact with other kids under your supervision.
Children need to play, run, skip, play football and so on. This will address their need for physical exercise, and games like word search, missing letters or numbers, crossword, and jigsaw puzzles will build their intelligence.
Also give kids an opportunity to have some fun and feel some sense of self-esteem, building good memories and enjoying childhood while it lasts.
