Who are you and why are you in the judges stage?

My name is Udemeabasi Andrew , you all know me as us-andrew.
I'm from Oruk Anam LGA of AkwaIbom, here in Nigeria.
A student of the Federal University of Uyo, in Nigeria, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

I'm in the judges stage because I made it through the blind audition stage and also to sail through the judges stage too.

What song did you sing and why do choose the song? Tell us about the song and why it suits your voice.

I sang Lost Boy by Ruth B
This song is about a boy who in a particular time of his life , he was lonely, not having any friends except an imaginary shadow from the moon.
His imagination grew wild to a point where the shadow became real "a person" . And became his real friend. Sounds creepy. But interesting as the song continues.

The song suit my voice because, it goes on a soft and slow tempo. I made it a little bit fast while singing. Because of time sake.
We're not supposed to exceed 2:30 minutes.
I love songs that calms to soul, and passes a messages like this....
The Singers voice is a bit deep, mine is lighter.

What one thing do you love about your voice when singing the song? Did you use the marking scheme to practice?

I love the way it's sounds, not lousy, not noisy, just calm and relaxed.
Plus I get to lift it whenever I want to and bring it down the same way without cracking.
Most especially, I was trying to solo the voice of the original singer. One of the things I love doing when singing or soloing a song for the first time is to sing exactly like the original artist.
And I'm glad I did so in the video.
However, I added some reefs and bits of runs unlike in the original song.

While writing this post I went to check the marking scheme, I'm sure I'm good to go.

Do you think your performance will send you to the next stage? Is there any judge you're afraid of?

Yes, absolutely. With all things being equal and by the special grace of God, also with a little touch of fans love😂🥹 , I'll progress gloriously to the next stage.
