Visiting the Farm; Muddy roads, Cute Puppies and Panoramic ViewssteemCreated with Sketch.

Hello, dear friends! I'm pleased to have made another post here on the amazing community. The strong earthquake has given Mindanao lots of damage and casualties; last night another 6.9 magnitude shook the land and the authorities said that it is another earthquake, not just an aftershock and it scares me a lot especially when my kids will go back to school and I on my work. But I know that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

I will be sharing today about me and my family's walk last Sunday on the farm. Sundays are my rest days so I am free to go anywhere, Lol!

It was a wonderful morning, and we took the motorcycle going to the farm. This is our shadow on a motorcycle and for it it looks very nice

Along the way, trees' shadows can be seen too. The sky is so blue and had a few clouds in it.

We stopped on a gasoline station to buy gas, and while refilling, I took pictures around. I know it's forbidden but I forgot about it.

After a few minutes of traveling, we are on a rough road, the ground is still wet because the trees' shadows do not let the sun's rays to penetrate.

Since my husband just refilled gas, he decided to take the whole route but I insisted that we take the shortcut route.

Above is Czak waiting for his father; he dropped us at the shortcut intersection and continued his way to the nearest house to leave his motorcycle(just to be safe from car napping).
Look at the road, it's damaged and they did not do anything to fix it. It's very hard to pass here even when on four-wheel drive vehicles.

I carried the dog's food with me while husband carried Czak while walking along the trail.

Cattle were tethered on the vacant lot; the cattle owners were taking advantage of the grass that grew, it mean free food for the beasts.

The grass is wet making my slippers wet and slippery too, so hubby was a long way ahead of me.

When he looked back, he was laughing at me and waited while Czak was riding on his shoulders.

After the grasslands, we crossed the river, no stream and we are on our farm. It's an uphill climb to reach the top. My husband put down Czak and made him walk uphill and he survived! what a strong boy he is.

Czak picked old cassava sticks to play with, all he think about is play, not knowing that what we planned on doing there was to pull out the weeds that grew along the crops.

When we reached the farmhouse, the very first thing that I did was feed the hungry dogs my mother had. They were the reason why my mother goes here every day. When my father was yet alive, they used to live here.

Ooh, and new puppies are here too! Czak was very delighted to see them. he said they are cute and hugged them.

All three of them had short tails, just like their mother.

Czak rides on the hammock while I fed the chickens too.

Ton got ahead of us to the farm and started to weed off weeds while I took my time feeding everyone there and taking pictures along the way. Here are a couple of my shots!

We don't have dandelions here but this weed has seeds similar to it. It also had a parachute and the seeds are carried away even with the tiniest blow of air in it.

Here is a spider web and I think that's a dead prey in the center.

And here is what the farm looked like. It's vast and, oh just so lovely! I miss living here. The cassava on this portion is my mother's. ours are on the slope.

The farm is my favorite place, perhaps because that is where I grew up with and I miss that place every single day. Too sad I had to live in Alae to have an easy access to vehicles, work and school. But I really dream of living here one day. I have great plans and I hope that Steemit will support of of it.

Life had been hard lately but it's not an excuse to stop dreaming and living.

Thank you for staying with me all this time, your support will be much appreciated. Thank you so much; keep safe and stay happy always.
