The sky had already darkened, yet that night the stadium still alive with people. Huge spotlights shone down upon the field, the grass gleaming in the starlight as if it had been freshly sprinkled with morning dew.

The blow of the whistle by the coach and the enthusiastic shouts of the players, and from the distance also came the murmur of the crowd that was already on its way to fill the stands. In the center of the field, two lines of players worked out intensely, readying themselves for the big game on the morrow.

In the east stand, above all, a giant and beautiful catchmark is the pride of your loyal support that always stand by them. Banners with the name "Ultras Garuda" are waving lightly in the wind of the night. It was not yet packed with people, but the crowd it located already radiated an air of rivalry and patriotism.

Some players have been warming up near the goal, taking some focused kicks. The goalkeeper was flinging himself from side to side, to get all the incoming balls. Elsewhere, the trainer and staff watched their players intently from the bench. They were quite strict in the commands given, but at the same time also gave support and praise when the players executed the exercise successfully.

Behind the stands, a little boy in a national team jersey was gazing at the pitch with eyes full of stars. Τhe small flag he was holding, was waving in his hand with a lot of enthusiasm even before the match started. For the young lad, watching his hero train live in the stadium was nothing less than a dream come true.

The cool night air made for a nice mix. Long shadows were cast over the bright lights of the stadium, illuminating the athletics track that surrounds the field. Now shellacked out of (mostly) sight among the blue seats, a handful of fans remain lounging, chatting, ruminating on strategies and lineups for tomorrow’s game.

Practice was continuing in the night. The patter of the ball on the field was sometimes joined by faint applause from the stands. All those who were there that night understand that this is training not just for the body, but also for dedication, passion and heart out on the field.
