SMA Negeri 2 Nisam is the only high school in the village of Blang Karieng. This high school is where I studied from 2014 to 2017. Currently, the school is headed by Mr. Azahir. When I was still studying there, Mr. Azahir was an Islamic education teacher.

This school has achieved many accomplishments at the district, provincial, and even national levels. The teachers who teach there are all senior teachers, and some of them have master's degrees. The entire school grounds and buildings are surrounded by a concrete fence that is almost 2 meters high.

This school is located in the middle of three sub-districts, namely Nisam, Dewantara, and Banda Baro. Due to its strategic location, it is certainly a suitable place of learning for students from nearby villages, such as the main village of Blang Karieng and surrounding villages such as Paloh Gadeng, Paya Beunyot, Puloe Rungkom, Paloh Kaye Kunyet, and so on.

In front of the school is the school road, directly opposite SMP Negeri 2 Nisam, with only the road separating the two schools. On the fence wall is a signboard displaying the school's full name and address.

The school has classrooms for grades 1 through 3. There is also one laboratory, one library, and one computer lab. At the front of the building is the main office, which includes the principal's office, administrative offices, and so on.

The school grounds feature a volleyball court and a badminton court. In addition, the spacious school grounds are used for ceremonies every Monday. The school grounds have been paved with paving blocks so that they do not get muddy and weeds do not grow easily. The school grounds are surrounded by green plants, which make the air in the school cool.

There is a designated parking area on the side of the fence. This parking area is specifically for two-wheeled vehicles and has a roof. Four-wheeled vehicles can be parked in other areas of the school grounds.

I was there, and I didn't forget to take photos. I have many memories of being there when I was in school with my friends and senior teachers, and they always come to mind when I am there.

In front of the school office, there is a garden planted with flowers. The flowers are neatly arranged in pots or directly in the ground. Now there are also large green trees in front of the office, making it cooler.

Currently, the number of students at this school is still relatively small due to competition from more prestigious schools such as Nisam State High School 1, Nisam State Vocational School 1, and Dewantara State High School 1. Many people prefer schools further away, leaving only a few students attending this school.
