Vos-25 Host ft Nigerian Judge — All of Me Cover by John Legend

Some days ago, the host of The Voice of Steemit, edition 1, decided to sing with one of the Nigerian judges on a duet song titled All of Me. This is the battle stage, and in this stage, two people are meant to sing an emotional song selected by me, being the host of this show.

It's quite interesting to know that I did a perfect pairing of the contestants on the ground. You need to hear how well they blend in our training sessions. As the host, I had to lead by example. I didn't want a situation where we'd give our contestants something we can't do ourselves.

Even though we aren't perfect in voices and didn't have much time to train others, we talk more of training ourselves. So I decided to pair myself with a Nigerian judge who I could meet up with to sing a duet before our contestants open the stage with their beautiful performance.

Unfortunately, two of the 12 contestants dropped their entry even before we could do ours. The song we selected is titled 'All of Me' by John Legend. All of Me is an emotional love song sung by a male artist. So we had to turn it into a creative duet song, and we did that by allocating parts from the lyrics.

We did train once due to time and then bumped into the main performance. Before showcasing the main performance, let's talk about the allocation of parts in the song's lyrics.

From these lyrics, I am to start the song with a masculine voice. The chorus is to be sung by both of us. The next stanza is to be sung by @bleesb, one of the Nigerian judges. We actually showcase our creativity in this song by trying to blend in our voices so that the chemistry would be heard in the song.
