Hello friends, on this occasion I want to share some pictures that I have just photographed to post on my blog, earlier I wanted to look for some pictures of small animals around the location where I live then I found a sago beetle standing on a fallen areca nut tree, this beetle is not very wild, it is very easy to get a good picture, then I tried to get a picture of the beetle then I quietly approached the beetle then I took some pictures with my android phone,..

This time I want to share a small animal Sago beetle is a very damaging pest for palm plants, especially oil palm and coconut. Attacks on young plants can cause damage to the base or growing point, while in adult plants, this beetle attacks young fronds that have not yet opened.

Attacks by this beetle can cause holes in the stem or frond that release reddish brown mucus, and in severe cases can result in plant death. Controlling this insect is very difficult and requires various methods.

On this occasion, I can only share pictures of sago beetles, I can only get less good photos because this animal is very easy to get pictures of, because if it is not wild like other animals I can take photos too close.
