Sheikh Abdulkadir college, Ilorin.

This college is one of the oldest college in my state and I put the entry into steem-atlas map for the growth of this project and easily locate among the users.

This school was known as Ilorin Teacher College, which was established in 1953. Some people have graduated from this college and have performed excellently in any field they find themselves in. As time went on, they later renamed the school to Sheikh Abdulkadir College. The design or structure we see was established by the 1973 set, which served as a contribution to the college.

Most of the classes and offices are in good shape, and the bricks are still strong compared to the classes that are built today. Most of the materials used are completely old, which makes the area look perfectly amazing. Halls are also available in order to accommodate large numbers of students so that they can use them to write their exams, such as WAEC, NECO, and so on.

I think that some teachers also use them to celebrate the retirement of fellow teachers from active service. I can remember in the year 2022 when I was an ad hoc staff member of WAEC, we moved the exam materials to the hall in order to have enough space to attend to supervisors.

They have a playground so that students can showcase their skills or talents. This football field is available for both students and outsiders, especially for those who normally play after closing hours.

They also plays competitions among the teams in which people enjoy participating for fun. This dressing room was built by Taiwo Awoniyi. He was a Nigerian professional football player who played for Nottingham Forest as well as the Nigerian team, he built it because he did not forget the local club that brought him up.

They also have amazing staff quarters for teachers so that it can accommodate their families and make the teaching job convenient for them. Signposts of the college are placed in one area in order to create awareness. We are in raining season so some people make use of the land available in school premises to plant different varieties of crops.
