Welcome to the Sacred ❤️ Heart of Jesus Parish.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church is a Roman Catholic Church located in the village of Pajac, Lapulapu City, Cebu, Philippines. Its patron is St. Joseph the Worker. It was established on June 14,1996.

It has a brick-tile exterior with a balcony in the second level which is covered by a barrel ceiling and on which wall a round window contains a stained glass rendition of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Like most of the churches, the center part of the second floor facing the altar is where the choirs are.

The area is not that wide, looks like unorganized as you enter because the entrance during Sundays are almost full with parked cars. Looking from the streets, you couldn't recognized it easily if not with the flowers and signage outside the gate.

As you enter the gate, there is a food shop of where hot binignit is quite popular. On the left side there is the candle lighting area..

Walk through and first you see the adoration chapel at the right side, still at the parking lot. Just the right place for an adoration, quiet and tidy. You can come inside pray in silence.

On the left side, there is the grotto of Mama Mary of Lourdes with a pond under it.

The candle lighting, the adoration,and the shop, the Grotto is somehow first part of the church. Then you enter another entrance to the church hall. Its not like most of the church because the arc entry way is at the side of the building, the east ➡️ side.

The center is the Sacred heart of Jesus statue, complete with all that is needed for the mass, inviting us to come near and be filled with His love.

The chairs are comfortably arranged and it is also equipped with good speakers and wall fans.

Beside the church, at the ⬅️ left side below, the Parish office is open for your inquiries. There is also a comfort room south side of the church upon exiting.

There is also a designated Devine Mercy Prayer room fronting the church, probably for the Devine Mercy devotees.

Feast Day Celebration

The feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is every third Sunday of June. The feast of St. Joseph is on the first of June.

Services

The parish office is open from 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon and from 2:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.

Baptism is at 11:30 in the morning every Sunday.

Confession is every after mass
