Greetings

I am here to apply for the Teaching Team of Steemit Challenge season 25. A great initiative by the Steemit team is that I can share a specific course about Physical Therapy Intervention in Lower Extremity and name I will give this month is Health Horizon, in which I will share my experience and get a chance to get selected & share knowledge with you all by giving unique weekly lessons. I got a great response from users in the season 21 and 22 physical therapy intervention course, and they have learnt a lot.

The subject area I want to cover

This season, again, I am going to share my knowledge and experience about my field. As I am a medical final year student ( Doctor of Physical Therapy ), I have seen that a lot of people are suffering from different diseases in the upper extremities, like in sports and other professions for which they need a physiotherapist who will guide them.

I will deliver a course on different diseases in the lower extremities, their background, signs & symptoms, and their physical therapy treatment. I will cover the common diseases that patients are suffering from; some of them don't know the treatment for those diseases or don't want to take physical therapy sessions with a physiotherapist. This time, I will focus more on practical work than theory to lessen the chance of AI content.

The details of their experience in the subject area be it professional

By profession, I am a doctor (physiotherapist) in which I have to treat patients without any medication & surgery like MBBS doctors. I am in the final semester of my doctorate, & In Sha Allah, after a few weeks, I will be holding my degree to officially announce it. I am doing my internship in the hospital to learn & improve my clinical skills as I want to be focused on clinical expertise then theoretical knowledge.

I have 3 & half years of experience in clinical knowledge. In our 2nd-year, clinical rotations start, and then we learn different exercises to treat specific conditions that are curable with physical therapy. I am also working in a clinic in the evening time to improve my clinical skills and treat different diseases to gain experience.

I joined Steemit in May 2021. I have completed 4 years on Steemit. I have been active since I joined Steemit, following all the initiatives of the Steemit team, club, burnsteem25, engagement challenges & community curators. I worked as a moderator in different communities, but for now, I am the admin of Steem Fashion & style, Steem Physio & rehab and a mod in the CCS community.

Review Format

I am going to change the review format this season as we have to focus more on practical courses or lessons, so I would give more grades based on user performance rather than on theory. This is my little effort to lessen the AI content in the lesson posts and encourage more practical work.

I will choose the previous seasons' lesson example.

Thank you for understanding the lesson and sharing your assignment; I hope that you will enjoy this week's lesson and try to implement it in your life if you see any such case.

Observations

Task 1 (1.5/1.5) I will give 0.5 marks to each part of question 1 like 0.5 for definition or any other specific information, 0.5 for etiology, and 0.5 for signs & symptoms. Give full grades to those who share all the details that I asked for.

Task 2 (2.5/2.5) In the second question, I will give full grades to those who performed the special tests; otherwise, I will give half, 1.25, to those who didn't perform them on anyone.

Task 3 (6/6) Most of the time, I asked users to perform 3 exercises, so I will give each exercise 2 marks, and if there is any correction needed, I will deduct marks on each exercise basis. Give full grades to those who perform the exercise the correction posture and position.

Details of how people can interact and get engaged with the project.

I try to make this month challenge more practical and easy to understand because exercises are the things that most of the users perform daily to keep themselves active and healthy. I will share the exercise specific for some diseases that are common in athletes or sedentary lifestyle and can be managed with the help of physical therapy without any medication or surgical procedure. I think that's the plus point that attract users to my challenge pitch and share their participations.

This was my strategy to check each post's content quality & above are the 6 weeks' lessons that I will teach you and then give home tasks. I hope you like it & share your positive feedback. I hope while participating in the above topics, you all will learn new things about physical therapy. Best wishes to all the applicants.
