Assalamu Alaikum, my dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. I am also doing well with your prayers and the infinite mercy of Allah, Alhamdulillah. Currently, we are standing in the third week of the Steam Challenge. This week, I have come to participate in the competition run by my dear sister @ashkhan . This week, she discussed the topic of pain. Which is actually very important for a common person to learn.
In this way, just as he can apply these things to his own body experimentally. In the same way, he can apply these things to the patient after diagnosing him experimentally. This helps him a lot. So, without further ado, I will discuss with you the things I learned after reading his post today.
You have to share your knowledge about balance, it's type, coordination and pathophysiology. |
---|
Definition of Balance:- By balance we mean that a person or object does not sway in any direction, but remains stationary in a place. That is usually called balance. In simple terms. If an ordinary person stands still in a place, stands beautifully without any kind of sway and movement, then that person and time are in a state of balance.
Types of Balance:- Balance is generally of three types. Static balance, running balance, process balance. I am discussing the explanation of these three balances with you below.
Static balance:- Static balance means, suppose a person is standing in the same place, resting on his two feet. He is not moving his arms and legs. Or he is not trying to walk in any direction. This is usually called static balance.
Running balance:- Running balance refers to a person maintaining his or her own balance while moving. It can be seen in this case that a person is walking or riding a bicycle but still has control over his or her balance. It can also be seen when small children start running, or when there is a race, but adults are still in running balance. But even then they keep their body balanced and keep running, thus keeping their body balance under control.
Processive balance: - By processive balance I mean, a person is walking very fast. Suddenly he stumbles on something and falls, but even then he controls himself and protects himself by maintaining his balance. In general, that is what is called processive balance. In this case, I can also give an example of a daily artist. When a daily artist does daily. But in some cases, he tries to maintain his balance himself or when he stumbles on something. Then he maintains balance on his body to protect himself from that.
- Coordination:- By coordination, I mean that every part of my body works properly together with each other. That is, when our hands, feet, ears, head, brain are all focused on a task, then I think that task is completed correctly. When you start doing any task, then it is very important to have coordination in your body. That is, in simple words, if you play cricket, then if your hands, feet, ears, eyes and your brain work properly, then only you will be able to get out the batsman in front of you. This is not only in the case of a cricketer. It plays an important role in every human being.
Pathophysiology |
---|
Vestibular System:- The vestibular system is an organ inside the ear of our body, which usually controls the balance and movement of our body. It helps us to keep it straight and steady. This is usually a problem with our ears. Which can actually be due to weakness in the ears. Such a person suddenly becomes dizzy while working. This is due to his vestibular system not being able to control the light.
Proprioception:- This is a sensory ability of our body that allows us to move our body parts, to feel where something is, even with our eyes closed. In simple terms, it is a kind of ability. We can feel whether our feet are behind or in front of us with our eyes closed. We can feel whether there is tension in any muscle anywhere in our body with our eyes closed.
Central Nervous System:- This is usually the control center of our body, among all the organs in our body, where is there any problem, it controls our body properly and it receives all the information of our body correctly. And it helps to send the signal to where it needs to be sent correctly. The central nervous system is the main control center of our body. Suppose when we put our hand to touch something hot, then our head and our spine work together. As soon as we put our hand in that hot thing, it works in our head so that we release it quickly. It is not only in this case. Starting from our walking, this central nervous system plays an important role in controlling every part of our body.
Visual:- This usually refers to the important role played by our eyes in visual function. Through visual, we can see the world around us properly and enjoy it. Also, in a general sense, if we watch a video or when the teacher writes something on our blackboard and presents it to us. Then the thing we see from a distance and gain experience is visual in general terms. In a general sense, all kinds of information and experiences seen with the eyes are called visual.
This type of patient may have various symptoms. The symptoms are: |
---|
- Naturally, weakness sets in within the body.
- Even light work can cause fatigue in the body.
- After staring at something for 10 to 15 minutes, suddenly my eyesight starts to fail. I can't see that thing properly.
- Sudden nausea after eating or doing something.
- Sudden dizziness while working or sudden dizziness while walking.
You will need to tell us what caused the balance and coordination problems. If you have had any recent injuries that are accompanied by symptoms of balance and coordination problems, you can also share your history. |

Below I discuss with you some important reasons why balance and coordination occur.
Brain problems:- Generally speaking, if there is a problem in the head or you have suffered some kind of injury to your brain, then these balance and coordination problems will appear in your brain very quickly.
Nerve problems:- Everything in our body, from movement to walking, is controlled by the nervous system. When the nervous system is under even a small amount of stress, meaning it becomes sick or damaged, our body stops working.
Overdose of medicines:- when we fall ill, we take various types of medicines. But if we take more medicines than our body needs, then its effects will affect our body. Which can cause various types of problems in our body.
Weakness:- If there is weakness in your body, then you will feel unusually tired while doing any work. Due to which your body will become even weaker. You will have trouble maintaining your body balance.
Bleeding:- For our body to be healthy, it is very important for every organ to be healthy. If there is bleeding from any part of your body for a long time, then your body will naturally become weak. Due to which you will not be able to maintain the balance of your body.
Fracture is a major problem that will make it very difficult for you to maintain your balance. When we have a fracture in our legs, we cannot walk normally or maintain our balance.

I have selected my son as my patient. He loves playing football very much. He plays football every day due to which he has become good at it. But one day while playing football in the field, he tripped over the ball and fell. Although he did not pay much attention to it at first, later he realized it. He was having a hard time walking. He kept it a secret from me at first. But later, when he could not walk at night, I insisted a lot and he revealed it to me. He could not walk and had to walk by leaning on something. He could not maintain his balance and it was very difficult for him.
It would be good to treat the patient by performing the physiotherapy management mentioned above, share videos or pictures during the treatment, and review after the treatment. (Try using 2 methods). |

While playing football, he fell down with the ball on the field, which caused pressure on the muscles and nerves of his legs. Due to which he lost his balance and had a lot of difficulty in walking. And because of this difficulty, I made my son do two physiotherapy exercises. Which I discuss below.
Walking backwards and in reverse is a very important exercise for our body. Doing this exercise will increase the development of the muscles and nervous system in your body.

I am trying to walk my son behind and alongside. |
---|
The benefits I have seen in my son due to doing this exercise. His leg pain has reduced a lot. His nervous system has developed. It has become somewhat able to maintain the body's balance.
Of course, you have to be careful while doing this exercise. Don't overdo it. This will make it difficult to maintain balance and will cause muscle tension. This can lead to much bigger problems.

When exercising on one leg |
---|
Single leg squat This exercise is usually done standing on one leg. That is, you have to put all your body weight on one leg. Along with that, you have to maintain your body balance. It plays an important role in developing your body's nervous system and your muscles.
The benefits that you will enjoy by doing this exercise: Single Leg Squat. The blood circulation in your body will increase. The pain in the legs will be reduced to a great extent. The problems that exist between the muscles and the nervous system will be solved to a great extent. The pain in the joints will disappear in an instant.
You must be careful while doing single leg squat exercise. You have to master it gradually. Do not exercise for too long, as this can cause excessive stress in your body muscles. Due to which you can lose your body balance.
I have tried to answer every question of the competition correctly. Since this is a very important matter, I would like to invite @yousafharoonkhan @jakaria121 @mamun123456 of my friends to participate in this competition. You also participate here and share your valuable opinions with us. Everyone be well.
