On the path of honesty

I walk where truth and courage meet; no shadow hides beneath my feet. Each step may cost, yet I am free, For this is where I’m meant to be.

The road is rough, the night is long, but honesty will keep me strong. Though tempters whisper, “Turn away,” I hold the light to guide my way.

Some may deceive, some may betray, Their silver tongues may seem to sway. Yet peace belongs to those who stand. With open heart and steady hand.

And when my journey finds its end, I’ll greet the dawn as my true friend. For I have lived, and I have known, The path of truth is all my own.
